Our 2024 Charity Cause

NVforHD is a Nevada based organization dedicated to helping raise awareness of Huntington’s Disease.  The cause is near and dear to our hearts because it has affected someone very close to us.

For 2024, we’re raising funds via an amazing golf tournament and each and every event we will host will go to a worthy cause dedicated solely to a cure, awareness, or helping families in need.

This year, we are pleased to announce that all proceeds from our event will benefit an incredible organization called HelpCureHD.   This organization was inspired by Lee Smith, mother of MLB veteran Joe Smith.  Lee was diagnosed with HD in 2012, and passed in 2020, just shy of her 62nd birthday.  Joe and his wife, TNT reporter Allie LaForce are fulfilling a promise made to Lee to end Huntington’s disease, one family at a time.  To do so, they created HelpCureHD, which provides families in financial need to have babies free from this awful disease.  Their mission to help those suffering from Huntington’s disease has helped over 135 families, with many more to come.  HelpCureHD assists families with the costs of IVF and ensures that future generations are born disease free.  Check them out at www.helpcurehd.com.

Our goal at NVforHD is to raise enough money this year to help one family end the cycle of pain and suffering.  Helping one family with IVF is really saving future generations,  potentially hundreds of people with just one act of kindness.

Thank you for all that you do, we can’t wait to see you for this year’s event!
