Huntington’s Disease is a hereditary brain disorder with no known cure. The disease is terminal and causes a deterioration of nerve cells which is likened to having Parkinson’s and ALS at the same time. It is a horrible disease that affects entire generations of families.
This awful disease has struck our family and we’re on a mission to help in any way we can. For 2024, we’re hosting a golf tournament and this year’s recipient of our proceeds will be HelpCureHD (HelpCureHD.org). These wonderful folks raise money to help families pay for IVF and have babies free of this disease!
The cost of IVF for a family can be overwhelming and our goal is to raise a minimum of $20,000 so one couple can rid their family’s lineage of this horrible disease. One child born without HD has a ripple-effect of freeing “X” amount of future family members for generations to come. Please know your participation fee will help us meet this goal! We couldn’t think of a better cause, so let’s get out there, have a good time, and make sure one family can sleep easy at night knowing their child will be HD free!
