Huntington’s Disease is a hereditary brain disorder with no known cure. The disease is terminal and causes a deterioration of nerve cells which is likened to having Parkinson’s, ALS and Alzheimer’s at the same time. It is a horrible disease that affects entire generations of families.
This awful disease has struck our family and we’re on a mission to help in any way we can. In our first two years we raised over $50,000 to directly support families in need. From sponsoring a young couple’s IVF journey to a healthy baby, to supporting a regional hospital that directly improves the lives of more than 90 local families, you have made our mission possible!
On May 29th, 2026 we’re once again hosting our annual event at Grays Crossing Golf Club in Truckee, CA. Our goal this year is to help even more people and specifically those in the Reno/Sierra Foothills areas Afflicted with the horrible disease. Please read more about our 2026 cause below.

In 2025 we focused our efforts on Supporting the closest Huntington’s Support Clinic in the area. The team at UC Davis in Sacramento serve over 90 families in our immediate area and we can tell you from firsthand experience, they do an amazing job helping to guide families through their worst days.
2024 was such a whirlwind, we pulled the event together and quickly sold out! Our first event raised $25,000 for the folks at HelpCureHD, who in turn, went through their grant cycle and vetted the most amazing of candidates for us. Brandon and Rylee can get their young family started without the specter of Huntington’s Disease hanging over future generations. We had the most amazing day, weather couldn’t have been better, many laughs, a few tears and an amazing start for an amazing community.
NvforHD is a Nevada based non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and funds to battle Huntington’s Disease. Every year we will raise funds and choose a worthy HD cause that supports treatment, awareness, or an eventual cure!
